Major duties and responsibilities include:

Grants Manager - Hartford Stage, Hartford, CT
Full time fundraising position for award-winning regional theatre. Plan, coordinate and execute organization’s Institutional Giving program in cooperation with Associate Director of Development for Institutional Giving. Manage and execute all foundation and government grant proposals and reports, including drafting narratives, budgets, interim and final reports. Research and cultivate prospects; manage grants calendar and tracking system; assist at donor events.
BA required plus minimum of 3 years relevant successful development experience, including initiating and building relationships with institutional prospects, proposal writing, budgeting and grant tracking. Senior Development Office
The Hole in the Wall Foundation, New Haven, CT
The position of Senior Development Officer provides an opportunity for an experienced fundraising professional with a proven record in one or more fundraising styles. Direct Marketing experience a plus.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years successful fundraising experience including direct responsibility for management of a fundraising style. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other members of the development team. The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial perspective, and strong writing skills. It would also be valuable for the candidate to be familiar with Raiser’s Edge and Net Community, and have experience in marketing communications, and in grant making.
We are seeking a candidate that is immediately able to assume bottom line responsibility for a fundraising style while also being able to work with other development colleagues on other styles. Salary is commensurate with experience and comparable to other nonprofit organizations.
