The Director of Development is responsible for raising money for the organization outside of government funding, including but not limited to, fundraising/special events, direct mail solicitation, fundraising campaigns and grant solicitation. Solicit in-kind donations through community contacts and various vehicles of outreach communication. Successful candidate must have a Bachelor degree from an accredited college, preferably with a focus in marketing or communications with five years of experience in development and fundraising.
