The AFP Philanthropy Awards Luncheon recognizes individuals and groups whose love, commitment and philanthropic spirit improve the lives of those who need it most in our state.
On Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009, Connecticut’s two AFP Chapters—Connecticut and Fairfield County—will honor five Philanthropy Award Recipients and two fundraising professionals at their all-day conference at the Holiday Inn in Waterbury, Connecticut.
If you know of a deserving board member, volunteer, youth, colleague and professional, nominate them. These awards are among the most prestigious ways to be recognized for mission-based work and leadership in the state.
The seven categories are:
-
Outstanding Philanthropist
-
Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
-
Outstanding Corporation
-
Outstanding Foundation
-
Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy
-
Outstanding Fundraising Professional
-
Outstanding Leadership-the Barbara Marion Award
